In 1998 a new master plan for Lutheridge+Lutherock ministries was being developed. With the increased draw from throughout the Southeast, the need for a third site to serve those in the deeper south was recognized.
Several years were spent searching for the perfect space.
In 2007, the Lutheranch property was purchased in Tallapoosa, GA which included 519 acres. The acquisition of the property enabled guests to start using the site immediately. The former landowner's residence was opened as a small retreat center in the fall of 2007. The residence was named The Holy Trinity House and hosted its first retreat in November of that same year.
In August of 2017 the McKanna-Sandrock Retreat Center was dedicated and opened with 31 hotel-style rooms each with two queen beds and 10 youth rooms equipped with bunk beds.
The mission of Lutheranch is to provide a place set apart to inspire and empower all in Christ's love.
